I believe this was the Royal Gwent Welsh Singers, they were on a 20 month tour of North America. Unfortunately they took the Lusitania back home to Wales the following year and were torpedoed by a German U boat off the coast of Ireland.
I now know these are not the “Royal” they toured America later in 1915. Sorry
