I believe this photo ws taken at the Moonshine Festival in New Straitsville, Ohio in 1952. This was probably a “special train” as regular passenger service between Athens and Columbus was discontinued on December 31.1949. I would like to know that date that regular, scheduled passenger service ended on the Monday Creek Branch out of Nelsonville.
