Would you happen to have access to old issues of the same newspaper for the years 1959 through 61 to see if there is any mention of a man being attacked outside the Congo, Ohio mine opening? The name I’m looking for is Dennis Wayne Weather(s)by. He passed away in 1967 at a Toledo, Ohio hospital from that attack. I remember his wife saying they got 7 more years with him because the attack was stopped from becoming murder. I also know that it resulted in a terrible head injury that possibly caved in the man’s skull.
