Ralph Drake
Ralph Drake, born in 1936, attended Hemlock-Central and Corning High School (1953). Educated /trained in chemistry at Case Institute of Technology, he holds graduate and post graduate degrees. He was a member of the B.F. Goodrich Company’s Technical Staff, a specialist in Polymer Chemistry/Polymer Science retiring in 1995. He is presently a Private Consultant with seven American and European clients, visiting Staff at MIT (Dept. of Materials Science) and a consultant in Materials at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation – Lerner Research Center. He holds over 100 technical publications and patents. He is a member of the American Chemical Society. He is a scholarship founder with The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund. Further interests include support groups at the Cleveland Museum of Art and The Cleveland Institute of Music. He is a major and known collector of American Art Pottery.
