Posted by littlecitiesarchive on July 3, 2010

The New Linda Theatre was a movie theater located in the first floor of the Red Men Hall Building, now known as the Tecumseh Theater, on West Main Street in Shawnee. The theatre was known as the home for one of the first talking movie projectors in Perry County and the Hocking Valley. It was owned and operated by Elias Hatem. These orignal tickets are from the early 1930’s. Some contain the names of the persons to whom they were issued. These names include John J. Fuchs, Harvey Jones, Mr. Callahan, Mr. O’Donnel, Mr. Ross and Frank Spicer.
